Since I was a child, I have always loved drawing and painting. I am obsessed with color, which inspired me to become an artist. I have always loved being outdoors, exploring nature, and painting what I see. That connection between what inspires me in the world and the urge to capture it has shaped all of my work.

I have worked in many mediums, but for the past thirty-five years watercolor and pastel have been my main focus. I love the flow of watercolor and its transparent layers, and the rich color of pastel. These days I paint mostly portraits of people and animals. I am a lifelong animal lover, and I especially enjoy painting dogs, cats, horses, and other animals, capturing each one's personality. I also paint landscapes, flowers, and other subjects from nature.

Painting has always been cathartic for me. After all these years, the colors of nature and the animals I love continue to inspire me every day.
